After numerous updates last year, the 2012 IS is carried over from last year with no major changes and includes rear or all-wheel drive models, as well as sedan and convertible bodystyle choices. In addition to the high performance IS F, an F Sport Package is also offered on IS 250 and 350 RWD trims as well. IS now features standard 10-way power leather trimmed seats, and the IS 350 features a 306 horsepower V6 engine. New color choices for this year include Smoky Granite Mica and Fire Agate Pearl. The convertible top opens or closes in 21 seconds and is also available with F Sport performance accessories. IS F receives new red leather interior trim, which replaces the orange/black combination from last year, as well as a new design for the 19-inch forged alloy BBS wheels.
