The 2012 Lexus CT 200h is offered in both Base and Premium trim levels. The CT features a new Vehicle Proximity Notification System that helps alert pedestrians and cyclists of an oncoming vehicle under certain conditions by emitting a low audible warning sound. The CT hybrid system features a total output of 134 hp and will accelerate from 0-60 in about 9.8 seconds. Other energy saving features include LED lighting, energy efficient audio system, bamboo charcoal speakers, and other uses of bio-source materials in the vehicle's manufacture. Drivers can select from various driving modes based on their preference--EV, Eco, Normal and Sport mode. There is one new exterior color: Nebula Gray Pearl.
