2012 Hyundai Sonata SE 4Dr Sedan Engine & Transmission Specifications

After a complete redesign in 2011, the 2012 Hyundai Sonata returns available in five trims: GLS (Manual and Automatic), SE, SE 2.0T, Limited, and Limited 2.0T. All models (except 2.0 Turbo trims) are powered by a Theta II 2.4L four-cylinder engine producing 198 horsepower (200 on the SE) and 186 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged version of the 2.0L engine produces an additional 76 horsepower. The Hybrid model will be available later in the year. Updates this year include standard "Blue Link" telematics featuring safety, service and infotainment systems. Limited models come standard with a three-piece panoramic sunroof. The updated 7-inch touch screen nav system features HD radio technology, and a rear back up camera is option on SE models equipped with the Sunroof and Navigation Package.
