The 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe continues for the new model with only minor updates, and is offered with a 2.0L Turbo engine in Base, R-Spec and Premium trims, or with the 3.8L V6 engine in R-Spec, Grand Touring and Track trims. Changes this year see a slight increase in power on the V6 to 306hp, and the four-cylinder turbo models achieving up to 30 mpg highway. The R-Spec trim on 2.0T adds a host of equipment, including limited slip differential, Brembo brakes, track tuned suspension, and 19-inch wheels with summer tires. Premium trims gain added features such as push-button start, touch-screen navigation and power sunroof. The top-of-the-line 3.8 Track enhances performance with ZF 6-speed automatic with paddle-shifters, and adds conveniences equipment such as heated seats, Infinity Premium Sound and cruise control.
