After a complete redesign in 2011, the 2012 Hyundai Elantra returns with only minor updates. Highlights for this year include a dual-tone horn for improved sound quality, updated steering calibration for better feel, the addition of fog lights and passenger sun visor to the GLS Preferred Package, as well as an optionally available roadside assistance kit. New exterior colors offered for the model year include Shimmering White, Midnight Black, and Indigo Night. On the Touring, 16-inch wheels have been added to the Preferred Package, and two new colors are now available: Volcanic Red and Dove White.
