For 2012 the Honda Insight hybrid has been given a significant refresh with new styling, updated interior and added equipment on popular trims. The Insight's design enhances the aerodynamics of the vehicle. Changes this year include the addition of a redesigned grill featuring a thin, blue accent bar that speaks to the cars hybrid characteristics. New headlight and brake light reflectors are also part of the update. LX models now feature updated 15-inch wheel covers while the EX has restyled alloy wheels. Inside the Insight has an expanded rear seat area that improves on the leg and headroom, and the driver instrumentation is updated for a more technically sophisticated appearance. Rounding out the changes on the interior are larger cupholders and cushioned armrest.
