The 2012 Honda CR-V is an all new model that now features RealTime All-Wheel Drive, Intelligent Cruise Control and is powered by a 2.4L i-VTEC four-cylinder engine that produces 185 horsepower and improved torque over last year's model. Upgrades have been made to nearly every aspect of the CR-V but Honda remained focused on value for the popular vehicle. Depending on trim, up to $1000 of equipment and technologies were added as standard, but the overall average price increase was less than $200 over the outgoing model it replaces. Other features enhanced for this year include an Easy Fold-Down 60/40 rear seat, lower cargo floor for improved access, as well as updated standard technology features such as Bluetooth, color information display, and multi-angle rear view camera. All CR-V's are now capable of reading texts from compatable cell phones over the integrated audio system.
