The 2012 Lincoln MKT is available in two models: 3.7 FWD and 3.5 AWD. The 3.7 models are equipped with a 268 horsepower 3.7L V6 engine while the EcoBoost AWD receives a direct injection twin-turbo charged 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine producing 355 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. It makes the same power as a 4.6L V8 but still maintains a V6 engines fuel economy of 16/25 city/highway. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include Lincoln Sync hands-free, voice-activated communications and entertainment system, a reverse sensing system with audible warning, SIRIUS satellite radio, premium leather heated and cooled front seats, and tire pressure monitoring system. Available options include a DVD-based navigation system, HID headlights, power panorama moonroof, THX II premium sound system, and remote engine start.
