The 2012 GMC Sierra line-up is offered in both Light Duty and 2500/3500 Heavy Duty models. Updates for this year include a new chrome three-bar grille design on SLE and SLT trims, and a hard-drive navigation system with MP3 compatibility and USB port offered on Denali and SLT models. One new color is available: Quicksilver Metallic. Engineering upgrades for this year include trailer sway control and hill-start assist with the StabiliTrak control system. For this year, 20-inch chrome wheels are also available. The more commercial oriented Work Truck models now come with standard cruise control, and the Z85 suspension is available only on WT models when equipped with the trailering package. The Denali features more luxury equipment such as standard heated and cooled front seats, leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and rearview camera. The Denali grade trim level is now offered in the HD line-up as well.
