For 2012, the Ford F-150 continues in Regular Cab, Super Cab and Super Crew bodystyles with several trims offered including XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trim levels. A new FX Appearance Package is offered for this year, and includes special 20-inch flat black wheels, unique body graphics, and a customized interior with black/red trimmed leather seating and brushed metal accents. New technology features such as Hill Start Assist are also available. An enhanced 4WD system for select grades, standard shift-on-the-fly 4x4 on XL to FX4 trims, and increased payload capacity for Crew Cab 157-inch wheelbase models (XL, XLT, and Lariat) are among the changes for this year. Light Duty SuperCabs now offer a 163-inch wheelbase option for XL and XLT trims. The Ford F-150 is Motor Trend's Truck of the Year for 2012.
