The 2012 Chevrolet Traverse is available in six trims: LS, LT, and LTZ, each in either a FWD or AWD configuration. Updates for this model year include the addition of outside heated power-adjustable, power-folding body-color and driver's side auto-dimming mirrors are now standard on the LTZ. All models are powered by a 3.6L V6 engine matted to a six-speed automatic transmission with shift control. Available options on the Traverse include a rear entertainment system, dual power moonroofs, chrome exterior enhancements, and a second row console. Two new exterior colors are also offered: Dark Silver Metallic and Crystal Red Tintcoat. The Traverse is sibling to the GMC Acadia, Saturn Outlook and Buick Enclave.
