The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban returns for this year with only minor updates. Originally introduced in 1935, the Suburban is the longest standing continuous nameplate in the automotive industry. Offered in both half and three quarter ton models, several trims are available, including LS, LT and LTZ. For this year, a navigation system with integrated hard drive and SiriusXM satellite radio is available. It features a USB port, Time Shift Recording capability as well as weather service. The LTZ now features a standard leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and heated seats come on the popular LT trim. The previously available StabiliTrak stability control system includes a trailer sway control feature f or added safety. The LTZ also makes standard blind zone monitoring and alert system. Crystal Red Tintcoat, Silver Ice Metallic and Blue Topaz Metallic are new colors.
