2012 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew Cab LT 4WD Long Bed 4Dr Extended Comparisons

For 2012, the Chevrolet Silverado is offered in Light Duty and Heavy Duty models and features minor changes for this year. Changes to the 1500 series trucks include a revised front-end (including updated mesh grille with either a color-keyed or chrome surround) and package and equipment revisions. Heated/ventilated front seats are now available on LTZ trims and with the exception of the Hybrids, all Silverado half ton models come with trailer sway control and hill start assist as standard. Four new colors are offered this year: Silver Ice, Mocha Steel, Carbon Flash, and Graystone. HD models saw a refresh in 2011, and for this year feature increased towing and payload capacities as the only significant change.
