The 2012 Cadillac CTS is carried over from last year with only minor updates. The CTS models see a freshened grille design, and a new, lighter 3.6L engine that produces 318 horsepower and helps achieve an estimated 27 miles per gallon on the highway. All models now come standard with Bluetooth connectivity, as well as several new color choices (Black Diamond Tricoat, Opulent Blue Metallic, and Mocha Steel Metallic). On CTS sedans, a new Touring Package is offered at the Luxury and Premium equipped levels (Premium only on coupe), while a blind spot monitoring system is now standard on the coupes. The performance CTS-V models continue in all three bodystyle choices.
