The 2012 BMW X6 is available in three trims: xDrive35i, xDrive50i and M. Engine choices include a 3.0L I-6 twin-turbo engine, a 4.4L V8 twin-turbo engine, or a 555 hp 4.4L V8 twin-turbo M engine. The 35i and 50i engines are mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission while the M maintains a six-speed M Sport automatic transmission with Adaptive Transmission Control (ATC).
