Reintroduced in 2010, the 2012 Volvo S60 returns initially in two trims--T5 (new for this year) and T6 AWD (a T6 R-Design trim will be offered later in the model year). The T5 comes standard with a 250 horsepower five cylinder engine, and Volvo indicates that the majority of future S60 sales will come from the new, more value priced trim level. Standard equipment on the T6 includes a 300-horsepower turbo engine, 18-inch wheels, power driver seat with memory, power folding rear head restraints, leather seating, and LED front headlights with auto positioning, and watch dial instrumentation. Among the standard safety features on the S60 are a Whiplash Protection Seating System, Inflatable Side Curtain, Side Impact Protection System, and City Safety.
