The all-new 2012 Mazda5 is available in three trims; Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. The Mazda5 is powered by a 2.5-liter MZR inline four-cylinder engine, which is also available in the MAZDA3, MAZDA6 and CX-7, producing 157 horsepower and 163 lb-ft of torque. The engine can be mated to either a six-speed manual transmission (Sport models only) or a five-speed electronically controlled automatic with manual shift control. Standard features include all power conveniences, keyless remote entry, and fold out table. The Grand Touring adds as standard a moon roof, rear spoiler, heated mirrors and leather seats, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Standard safety features include anti-lock brakes, tire pressure monitoring system, six airbags, and a brake force feature.
