The 2012 Nissan GT-R is only available in two trims: Premium and Black Edition. Updates for this model year include increased engine output and torque, greater fuel efficiency, revised handling, a refreshed exterior with improved aerodynamics, revised interior treatment and new wheels and tires. The powertrain remains a 3.8-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine with improved output of 530 horsepower and 488 lb-ft of torque mated to a paddle-shifted sequential 6-speed dual clutch transmission. Exterior changes include new front and rear fascia, integrated LED running lights, and a new Hyper Blue Black chrome wheel design. The Black Edition upgrades the Premium with Metallic Black Special lightweight aluminum forged RAYS wheels and unique red and black interior with Recaro leather-appointed seats.
