The 2011 Infiniti G is available in three bodystyles--coupe, sedan, and convertible. All new for this year, is the G25 sedan. The G25 is available only with the 2.5 liter V6 which produces 218 horsepower. Updates on the G37 this year include the anticipated return of Scratch Shield Paint. The paint is a resin with an elastic-like nature, that when heated by the sun, air or warm water, will fill small scratches in the car's clearcoat over time. A new Limited Edition model is being added to the line-up, as well as a performance oriented coupe. The first vehicle in the new Infiniti Performance Line will be an IPL coupe. The IPL builds on the Journey rear-wheel drive model and adds unique exterior and interior treatments, an advanced VQ37HR 3.7-liter V6 engine (18 horsepower over the G37 Coupe), and the suspension, steering and exhaust systems have been specially tuned.
