The 2011 Volvo S40 sedan is offered this year in two trims--T5 and T5 R-Design (the 2.4i Base model has been discontinued). Changes for this year include a standard 2.5L turbocharged engine with 227-hp mated with a 5-speed automatic with "auto-stick" functionality. An auto-dimming rearview mirror and power driver's seat with memory are also now standard. A minor change to the front grille sees a larger Volvo brand "Iron Mark" logo treatment. Leather seating and shift knob have been added as part of the Preferred Package. New options include satellite radio, keyless drive, and rear park assist. Flamenco Red is the new exterior color choice.
