The all-new 2011 Saab 9-5 is available in three models: Turbo4, Turbo6, and Aero sedan. The Turbo4 is powered by a 220 horsepower turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine while the Turbo6 and Aero receive a turbocharged 2.8L V6 engine generating 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engines are mated to either a six-speed manual (Turbo4 only) or a Sentronic six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include keyless remote entry with remote engine start, front and rear parking sensors, OnStar communication system, moon roof, and heated front seats. Standard safety features include front fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, and front and side impact air bags. A Technology Package is available and includes a HID headlights, head-up instrument display, advanced parking assist and lane departure warning system. The 9-5 is built on the same Epsilon platform as the Buick LaCrosse.
