The freshened 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan is available in five models: Cargo Van, Crew, Express, Mainstreet, and R/T(late availability). Grand Caravans feature a new powertrain this year, which provides more torque but improved fuel economy and gives drivers the ability to select from different modes to optimize fuel economy. Other updates include a restyled, more aggressive exterior (with a lower ride height and rear spoiler), upgraded interior (with new materials and "soft-touch" treatments), and new seats for improved comfort. For better handling and performance, the suspension has also been re-engineered. An available 'super' center console increases storage options. In an effort to up the coolness factor, the R/T model is designed with unique features to meld functionality with sportiness. The Grand Caravan is a sister car to the Chrysler Town & Country.
