The 2011 Mazda Tribute is carried over with no changes from last year. Available in i Sport, i Touring, i Grand Touring, and s Grand Touring trims, each is available in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. The i models are equipped with a 171 horsepower 2.5L iVTC four-cylinder engine while the s models receive a 3.0L V6 that generates 240 horsepower and 223 lb-ft of torque. The I Sport 2.5L engine is mated to a five-speed manual while the other 2.5L and 3.0L engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Tribute offers more traditional sport utility vehicle styling than the Mazda CX-7 or CX-9 crossovers, but maintains the unibody design, which delivers more car-like driving and handling characteristics.
