After having been updated for the 2010 model year, the 2011 Nissan Altima continues in sedan and coupe bodystyles (a hybrid sedan model is also available). Updates for this year are limited to a new value package available on Altima sedan. This "Special Edition" package will be positioned below the Convenience Package option, and feature a savings discount of about $500.00 (versus options purchase separately). A Bluetooth hands free communication system is now offered as a stand-alone option on both coupe and sedan models. The sedan features an entry level base model, while the S and SR trims levels are offered regardless of bodystyle. A manual transmission is only available on Altima coupe.
