The GMC Yukon returns for 2011 with little change. It continues to be available in either short or long wheel base (XL) and in either half ton (1500) or three quarter ton (2500) bodystyles. Trims include SLE, SLT, Denali and Hybrid versions, with Hybrid and Denali offered only on the 1500's. Updates for the model year include two new colors: Mocha Steel Metallic and Carbon Black Metallic, as well as the latest Gen 9.0 OnStar system with Automatic Crash Response. For improved fuel economy, all models feature a V-8 with GM's fuel-saving Active Fuel Management technology. All 4WD models feature a single speed transfer case, but a two-speed transfer case is available as an option.
