Introduced last year, the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro continues in three trim levels-- LS, LT, and SS (an RS Appearance Package is optional on all but the LS). A new convertible model will be available for order late fourth quarter 2010. The LS and LT models feature a standard V6 engine (with a revised hp rating of 312), while the SS trim makes standard a 6.2L V8. Other changes for this year include a new Synergy Green Metallic paint option (late availability), and standard Head-Up Display on all 2LT and 2SS level packages. OnStar with a six-month Directions and Connections plan is standard on all models for 2011. SS features special interior/exterior treatments, Brembo brakes, 20-inch tires, and a rear spoiler. The higher performance ZL1 model is still in the works, with the vehicle being revealed at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show. The last time the ZL1 was produced, was a limited run of 69 1969 models, with one selling at auction in 2005 for over $800,000.
