For the 2011 model year, the Ford Escape is offered in XLS, XLT, and Limited trims in either 2WD or AWD. Hybrid models are available in Base or Limited in 2WD and AWD. Standard on the Escape is an Integrated Spotter Mirror, MyKey System (XLT and Limited), heated seats and mirrors and Cargo Package (Limited only), and a rear view camera (Hybrid Limited). Optional equipment available includes an Auto Park system, rear view camera, and a universal garage door opener. The 3.0 V6 which is optional on some trims, is Flex Fuel capable. The Ford Escape is a sister vehicle to the Mercury Mariner. The Mercury line-up is being discontinued at the end of 2010.
