The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette continues in Base and Grand Sport coupe and convertible, Z06 Coupe and ZR1 Hatchback. Updates for this year include several new packages, including an Ultimate Performance Package, Carbon Fiber Package, and Carbon Special Edition Package (limited availability). Base coupe and convertible receive new 5-spoke machine-face or chrome wheels. Engineering enhancements for this year see a revised manual shift with carbon cone synchronization as well as steering wheel paddles for use with either the Drive or Sport modes with the automatic transmission. Interior and exterior revisions are limited to updated seat headrests and contrasting headlamp color. Chevrolet is offering a new program for customers who order 2011 Z06 and ZR1 models, whereby the customer can choose an option to help assemble their vehicles' LS7 or LS9 engines at the GM Performance Build Center.
