2011 Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab LT 4WD 4Dr

The 2011 Chevrolet Colorado is carried over from last year with no significant changes. The model lineup includes regular, extended and crew cab models with either a base Work Truck or LT trim choice (Crew Cabs are LT only). There are three engines choices offered (the 2.9L Vortec is standard on all but Crew Cab 4WD vehicles); and the 5.3L engine now features variable valve timing. Head curtain side airbags are also standard across the entire model line. Updates for this year are limited to OnStar Generation 9.0 software upgrade, and a front seat headrest design. Aqua Blue Metallic now replaces Inferno Orange. The Colorado is a sister vehicle to the GMC Canyon. Both trucks are slated to be discontinued with production ending in June 2012. A newer, smaller version of GM's compact truck (possibly a version of Brazil's Montana), may arrive a couple of years later.
