For 2011, the Toyota Corolla sees a freshened exterior and updated interior design, as well as a revised model lineup. Offered in three trims--Base, LE and S models, the updated Corolla offers the company's "Star Safety System" as standard. As a result, all models come with vehicle stability control, traction control, ABS brakes, electronic brake distribution, and brake assist. Also new, is the "Smart Stop" brake-override system. The vehicle also benefits from the Toyota Care Complimentary Maintenance Plan. Two new colors are offered this year. Introduced in 1966, to date, the Corolla has sold over 30 million units world-wide. The Corolla shares a platform with the Toyota Matrix.
