The 2011 Lincoln MKZ is available in either Front Wheel Drive (FWD) or All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration, with an all-new Hybrid model also available this year. The gas powered models are powered by a 263 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include Lincoln Sync hands-free, voice-activated communications and entertainment system, a reverse sensing system with audible warning, SIRIUS satellite radio, premium leather heated and cooled seats, and tire pressure monitoring system. Lincoln is loading the MKZ hybrid with luxury features and amenities in order to position it well against its top competitor, the Lexus HS 250h. The vehicle features a SmartGuage near the cluster which delivers driving feedback on fuel economy performance.
