The all-new second-generation 2011 Infiniti QX56 is available as a single trim and in 2WD or 4WD configuration. Updates include a stiffer frame, redesigned exterior and interior and a new drivetrain. A new 5.6L V8 engine produces 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a new 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) and manual shift mode with Downshift Rev Matching (DRM). Several Option packages are available and include a Deluxe Touring Package, a Theater Package, and a Technology package. The Technology Package consist of intelligent cruise control, intelligent brake assist with forward collision warning, distance control assist, lane departure warning and lane departure prevention, blind spot warning , front pre-crash seat belts, and adaptive front lighting System with auto-leveling headlights.
