The 2011 Ford Edge received an overall freshening for this year, as well as a revised powertrain line-up. Edge is available in four trims: SE, SEL, Limited, and Sport in either 2WD or AWD configurations. Ford's first use of the new global 2.0L EcoBoost I-4 engine is now offered, delivering improved fuel economy. A 3.5L V6 comes standard on Limited and SEL, with a 3.7L standard for the Sport. The Sport trim also sees 22-inch wheels as standard, and an eight-piece body kit for a more aggressive look and feel. Newly available MyFord Touch technology is designed to offer consumers the highest in communication and entertainment technology. The Edge is a sister car to the Lincoln MKX.
