For 2011, the Scion tC has been redesigned. Offered in a single trim with either manual or automatic transmission, the tC features a host of changes, including a more powerful engine, improved fuel economy, more aggressive sport styling, and additional safety features. The 2.5L engine produces 180 horsepower, up 19 from the previous generation model. Vehicles now feature a sport-tuned exhaust system with a more efficient intake design that is intended to deliver the bolder sound output that performance oriented buyers often seek. Handling improvements include the addition of standard power steering, as well as a McPherson strut front suspension, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
