For 2011, the Porsche Panamera adds two new V6 models to the line-up. It is now available in five models: base, base 4, S, 4S, and Turbo. Other updates include Bluetooth hands-free phone interface and a universal audio interface that provides connections for a MP3 player that can be controlled through Porsche's Communication Management system are now standard on all models. The base and base 4 are powered by a new 300 horsepower 3.6L V6 while the S and 4S are powered by a 4.8L V8 engine generating 400 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The Turbo receives a twin turbocharged version of the 4.8L V8 engine and produces 500 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to a seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) double-clutch automatic transmission.
