The 2011 Porsche Cayman is available in two models: base and S. Updates for this model year include several new option packages and Bluetooth hands-free phone interface and a universal audio interface that provides connections for a MP3 player are now standard on all models. The Cayman base features a 2.9L six-cylinder Boxer engine producing 265 horsepower while the Cayman S is equipped with a 3.4L flat-six engine boasting 320 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to either a short-shift six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed PDK double-clutch gearbox transmission. There are three new metallic exterior color options: Platinum Silver Metallic, Ruby Red and Amethyst Metallic.
