All-new for 2010, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class returns for 2011 with a new wagon and two new convertible models. It is available in ten models: E350 (RWD and 4MATIC), E550 (RWD and 4MATIC), and E63 AMG sedans, E350 4MATIC wagon, and E350 and E550 coupe and convertible. The E350 is powered by a 268 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine, while the E550 receives a 5.5L V8 engine producing 382 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. The E63 AMG appeals directly to sport enthusiasts and boasts a 6.3L V8 engine that generates 518 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque mated to a new AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed automatic transmission. New features include Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist with automatic brake intervention, standard LED daytime running lights on Sport Sedans/Wagons, a restyled headlight control switch and relocation of the ESP controls.
