The 2011 BMW M3 is available in three bodystyles: coupe, convertible, and sedan. Updates for this model year include the addition of a Competition Package to the coupe and sedan models. The package consists of a 10mm lower suspension, 19 inch wheels with greater offset for a wider track, and remapped Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control systems. The M3 is powered by a 420-hp 4.0L V8 engine coupled to a 7-Speed Manual double clutch transmission. Standard equipment includes 18-inch tires, forged polished wheels, dual-zone air conditioning, and a stereo system with MP3 compatible CD player. The optional Technology package adds electronic damping control, a navigation system, keyless entry, and the M Drive system. The M3 offers many other luxury amenities, including the BMW communication system, heated leather seats, and an upgraded sound system.
