Redesigned for 2011, the Audi A8 is offered in standard wheelbase and "L," longer wheelbase versions. The new A8 features many technologically advanced features including an available 1400-watt Bang and Olufsen sound system, standard high res Audi MMI touchpad screen (with handwriting recognition), optional full LED headlights, 18-way heated seats, and standard quattro AWD system. The A8 is build on a light weight aluminum body construction, with an aluminum ASF frame, and comes standard with a 4.8L engine that produces 372 horsepower and 328 lb-ft. torque. Options on the A8 include a Driver Assist Package (with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning system, and Audi Side Assist), a Premium Package featuring 22-way heated/cooled ventilated seats with massage function, and rear dual 10-inch screens with separate MMI interface (on the long wheelbase models).
