The Patriot is powered by a 2.4L in-line four-cylinder engine that generates 172 horsepower 165 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to either a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Standard features on the Patriot include side-curtain air bags, Electronic Stability Program, hill start assist control, traction control, brake assist, anti-lock brakes and tire pressure monitoring. Available options include Premium Sound Group that consist of nine Boston Acoustics speakers with subwoofer, two articulating liftgate speakers, steering wheel touch controls, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
