The 2010 BMW 1-Series is available in two trims: 128i and 135i, in either coupe or convertible bodystyles. Based on the original BMW 2002, the 1-Series is marketed to consumers with a focus on sporty design and handling features and seating for four (a 60/40 rear split seat is standard). The 128i is powered by a 230 horsepower 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine while the 135i receives a twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine that produces 306 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Standard features on all models include remote controlled engine start, automatic climate controls, and dynamic stability control. As with other models, the 1-Series comes with BMW's Ultimate Service, including a Maintenance Program.
