The all-new 2010 Nissan 370Z convertible is available in two trims: Base and Touring. Updates include a shorter wheelbase, greater use of lightweight body materials, new engine with more horsepower, a new 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, a synchronized downshift rev matching system for the manual transmission, and a redesigned exterior and interior. All models are powered by a new 3.7L V6 engine with VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift). The new engine is rated at 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, compared with the previous 3.5-liter V6's 306 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of toque. The engine is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a new seven-speed automatic transmission. Available options include heating and cooling ventilated net seats, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, satellite radio and advanced Nissan navigation system.
