The 2010 Volvo XC70 is available in two trims: 3.2 and T6. The 3.2 is powered by a 235 horsepower 3.2L inline six-cylinder engine while the T6 models are equipped with a 3.0L turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that generates 281 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission with Geartronic. The interior also features updated claret walnut wood inlay. The rear seat of the XC70 features integrated child seats which are adjustable in two steps. A number of safety systems are both standard and optional, including Collision Warning with brake support, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Volvo's Whiplash Protection System. Full-around laminate glass (including the tailgate) is also an option.
