The 2010 Chevrolet Corvette is available in six models: Base and Grand Sport in coupe or convertible, Z06 coupe, and ZR1. The new Grand Sport model replaces the Z51 package from the previous year. Updates for this year include a revised six-speed automatic paddle shift control which now includes a push and hold feature that enables an easier return to the automatic mode. Launch control is now standard on all manual transmission models and side air bags are standard on all models. The convertible models receive the taller rear spoiler from the Z06. The 3LZ package on the Z06 now includes power sport seats and power passenger seats. The ZR1 was designed and built with a unique combination of carbon fiber and ceramic materials and is powered by a LS9 supercharged 6.2L V8 rated at 638 hp.
