All new for the 2009, the Pontiac G3 returns for 2010 available in a single trim. The G3 is powered by a 1.6L four-cylinder engine that produces 106 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque, while delivering more than 30 MPG on the highway. The engine is mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or an optional electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. Targeted as an entry level car, it features seating for five adults and such standard equipment as air conditioning, MP3 compatible audio system, fog lights, rear spoiler, On Star, and four standard airbags. The rear seats feature 'theater-style' seating, where they are slightly higher than the front seats.
