The all-new 2010 Honda Insight is available in two trims: LX and EX. All models are powered by a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder i-VTEC gasoline engine combined with a 10-kilowatt electric motor. The combined output and torque of the engine and motor is 98 horsepower and 123 lb-ft. of torque. The engine and motor are mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Standard features on the LX include automatic climate control, power windows, power door locks with remote entry, tilt and telescopic steering column, four-speaker 160-watt audio system with CD player, projector-beam headlights and LED brake lights. The EX is upgraded with electronic stability control system, alloy wheels, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a six-speaker audio system, USB audio interface, and turn signal-integrated side mirrors.
