For this year, all Corolla models feature stability control and traction control as standard. The Base, S, LE and XLE are equipped with a 1.8-liter 16-valve, DOHC four-cylinder engine that produces 132 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque. The performance oriented XRS features a 2.4-liter engine which produces 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Standard features across the model line include daytime running lights, air conditioning, an XM satellite ready stereo system with a CD/MP3 player, a tire pressure monitor, and front seat-mounted side impact and head curtain airbags.
