The base engine is the BMW-powered 118 horsepower 1.6L inline four-cylinder engine, while the S and John Cooper Works boast a 175 horsepower turbocharged version. Both engines can be matted to either the standard six-speed manual transmission or the optional paddle-shift automatic transmission. Standard features include keyless remote entry, remote engine start, air conditioning and power windows.
