For 2009, the Subaru Outback wagon is available in four trims--2.5i, Limited and XT Limited, and 3.0R Limited. New for this year, the VDC system is standard on all models and a new Harman-kardon (R) Premium Audio system is standard on all models except the Base 2.5i. The L.L.Bean model has been discontinued and is replaced by the Limited, and the Premium model has been replaced by the Special Edition (available later). Dark tinted privacy glass is standard on the Limited, as well as steering wheel audio controls. The keyless entry remote is conveniently made smaller and minor interior trim color updates have been made. Ruby Red Metallic is a new exterior color choice on all models except the Base 2.5i.
