The Ford Expedition was redesigned for 2007 and returns for 2008 available in four trim levels: XLT, Limited, Eddie Bauer, and King Ranch with either 2WD or 4WD configurations. Last years redesign included exterior styling based on the F-Series trucks, new interior features, and added standard safety features. Ford also added AdvanceTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control) and three-row Safety Canopy side curtain air bags as standard equipment on all models. All Expedition models are powered by a 5.4L Triton V-8 engine that generates 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift capability. An extended length version of the Expedition that offers increased seating and cargo capacity is also available.
